sentimentalsanity asked: 2, 10, 13, 26, 43, and 50! :D
2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha?
As previously mentioned, only ever tried a milk chocolate mocha, but dark would be good in theory if not a little too bitter.
10: Pirates or ninjas? Why?
Hmm… I’d have to go with pirates simply for the freedom and always being on the water. Every other aspect of that lifestyle would such, no matter how much the glamorize it. Now if we’re going off of who I think would win in a fight? Ninja. Pirates were all over the spectrum, no formalized training or anything. Black powder only get you so far. Being a sneaky bastard with sharp pointy death in many different forms and knowing how to use all of them… that means a lot.
13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
Otter… river otter, sea otter, it doesn’t matter.
26: What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
TaleSpin
43: Coolest thing you’ve ever been for Halloween?
While the Dr. Kenny Lingus costume was a big hit, the year I went as a reaper is probably my favorite. Full latex mask and the works. It was way too much prep, but it looked great.
50: Post 5 awesome things about yourself. BRAG AWAY!
oh lord, ummm… I am the wrong person to ask this question. I will list goofy things that are mildly impressive.
1.) Much to the chagrin of my parents who think I’m wasting my potential, I have a genius level IQ. I personally think it means jack-all, but they (mostly Dad) bring it up enough.
2.) While I’m far from the best at anything. I’m a very quick study, and am proficient at a multitude of things. There is rarely a topic that comes up that I don’t have some experience, and if it does, I remedy that as soon as possible.
3.) I’ve spearheaded multiple charitable drives at my office that were able to help families or people in need. My two favorites (most proud of) were fully sponsoring a local Habitat Build, and working with the Teddy Roosevelt Foundation, we raised money to provide bears to all the kids at the local Children’s hospital. Getting to deliver them to all the families was very powerful and humbling, but also wonderful.
4.) I’m exceptionally good at answering lists of questions on social media sites…
5.) I was able to come up with 5 things… really just 3, but shhhhh!
Thanks! =]
thenoblecourt asked: I'm going to pick random since I'm in my phone. 1-5, 12, 36, 48. :)
1: What eye color do you find sexiest?
Hazel or green, it’s a toss up
2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha?
Milk chocolate, but only because I’ve never had the other two in a mocha.
3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be?
4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
Small town. I loved it. Oak Ridge is not very big, and I also spent a huge amount of my childhood in Wartburg, both are still so very dear to me. Wouldn’t trade a minute. Yeah it wasn’t always super exciting, but it has a charm.
5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite)
As a young child, it was my grandmother. She inspired so much of what I am today, from my love of the written word, to being a total Rat Pack fanatic. She worked a full time job helping needy families, always had time for family, was kind and generous, but also had no problem ripping a switch off of their willow tree if you got out of line.
12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set?
Growing up? haha I think I like them even more now.
36: Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? Vietnamese? Korean? Nepalese? How was it? No, all the time, yes, once. I want to try ethiopian, love vietnamese, korean is also very good, was not impressed with the nepalese.
48: Have you ever used something other than “makeup” as makeup? (Like paint? Markers?)
I’ve been covered in paint and/or marker from time to time, but it was never a makeup thing. I’m pretty sure any time I’ve been made-up it was always stage makeup.
Babysitting a very very drunk friend makes for an interesting reception. Stupid being responsible.
Ceremony is done, outdoor wedding, only a little rain.
Fun fact: the DJ looks like Ned Starks bastard. I want to tell him he knows nothing.
probably one of the most honest statements about talent i’ve ever heard. i try to tell people this all the time.
yup pretty much
